The Survey Areas data shows areas on the Copper Coast along with Tramore Back Strand and Woodstown Beach in Waterford where people can collect coastal information for monitoring purposes. People upload the information using a Survey123 app on their mobile phone or tablet.

It is a vector dataset. Vector data portray the world using points, lines, and polygons (areas).

The data is shown as polygons. Each polygon holds information on the survey location name.

CHERISH (Climate, Heritage and Environments of Reefs, Islands, and Headlands) is a 6-year European-funded Ireland-Wales project, bringing together four partners across two nations: the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Wales, the Discovery Programme: Centre for Archaeology and Innovation Ireland, Aberystwyth University: Department of Geography and Earth Sciences and Geological Survey, Ireland. The project began in January 2017 and runs until June 2023.
